The Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) is the nation's premier progressive world-wide movement providing non-formal education to girls and young women. Chartered under Commonwealth Act No. 542, it is a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). The organization is dedicated to the holistic development of the "total girl," empowering them to become patriotic, progressive, and proactive citizens who are ready to serve their family, community, and nation. The core of the GSP experience is the 8-Point Challenge, a program framework that balances traditional scouting skills with modern leadership. This includes challenges in spirituality, health, heritage, environment, and economic self-sufficiency. By living according to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, members develop a strong moral compass and a sense of duty that guides them throughout their lives.
