The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) is a school-basedorganization in the Philippines that empowers students to become active participantsin protecting and preserving the environment. It operates under the guidance of theDepartment of Education and promotes environmental awareness through student-ledactivities and projects. YES-O is a student organization focused on building awarenessand responsibility for the environment. Members take part in activities like clean-updrives, tree growing, waste segregation, and environmental campaigns. It also helpsstudents develop leadership skills, teamwork, and a sense of discipline while caring fornature. Objectives ·Raise awareness about environmental issues among students and the community. · Promote sustainable practices like recycling, waste segregation, and energyconservation. ·Encourage participation in environmental activities such as tree planting and clean-up drives. ·Develop leadership and teamwork through environmental programs. ·Support environmental protection efforts in coordination with schools and local communities.
