Education
The College of Education Student Government (CoEd-SG) is the official student organization that represents the voices, concerns, and welfare of all students in the College of Education. It serves not only as a governing body but also as an advocate and guide for students, helping them navigate academic life, express their ideas, and engage in meaningful opportunities within the college. The organization fosters a community where students are both learners and leaders, encouraging collaboration, participation, and personal growth. Through its programs, projects, and activities, CoEd-SG supports students academically, socially, and professionally, while promoting a sense of responsibility and unity among future educators. The organization provides avenues for students to develop leadership skills, teamwork, and confidence, while also encouraging involvement in initiatives that benefit both the college and the broader community. CoEd-SG works closely with faculty and administration to ensure that student concerns are heard and addressed, and that their input contributes to positive developments within the college. Its objectives include safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students, organizing programs that enhance leadership and learning, strengthening collaboration and engagement, and preparing students to become ethical, competent, and compassionate educators. By empowering students to take initiative, express their opinions, and participate actively in their community, the College of Education Student Government nurtures capable future teachers who are equipped to make a meaningful impact on society. Through its commitment to leadership, service, and student development, CoEd-SG continues to uphold its role as a vital pillar of the College of Education, fostering a supportive environment that encourages growth, responsibility, and excellence.
