The Youth for Peace Mabinay Chapter (YFPMabinay) is a recognized municipal chapter of the Youth for Peace and Development Movement Philippines. It is composed of dedicated youth volunteers committed to promoting peace, unity, and responsible citizenship in the Municipality of Mabinay, Negros Oriental. Guided by the Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines and the Constitution and By-Laws of the Youth for Peace and Development Movement Philippines, the chapter actively supports community development and nation-building through meaningful youth engagement. YFPMabinay envisions a community of empowered, disciplined, and peace-loving youth who contribute to sustainable peace and inclusive growth. Its mission is to develop young leaders through peace education, volunteerism, and active collaboration with government agencies, security sectors, and civil society organizations. Through these efforts, the chapter aims to strengthen the role of the youth in shaping a progressive and harmonious society. To achieve its goal of sustainable peace and development, the chapter focuses on the following objectives: • Promote peace, unity, patriotism, and good citizenship among the youth • Provide lawful volunteer services in partnership with the local government, barangays, schools, and institutions such as the AFP, PNP, and DepEd • Organize youth-centered programs and activities that respond to community needs • Strengthen cooperation with barangay chapters, schools, and youth organizations • Encourage active youth participation in governance, disaster response, environmental protection, and peace-building initiatives Through these efforts, the chapter upholds its commitment to building a peaceful, inclusive, and progressive Mabinay.
