The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Jacinto P. Elpa National High School is the highest governing body of the entire student body of JPENHS, located in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur. It serves as the official voice and representative organization of all learners, acting as a vital bridge between the students and the school administration. Rooted in the values of integrity, excellence, and service, the SSLG is dedicated to nurturing well-rounded Elpanians who are not only academically competent but also socially responsible and civically engaged. Committed to upholding the rights and welfare of every learner, the SSLG strives to foster a culture of active participation and servant leadership within the school community. It plans, organizes, and implements meaningful programs, projects, and activities that promote academic excellence, character formation, and the overall well-being of the student body. The organization also works to strengthen the relationship between learners and the school administration by maintaining open, honest, and respectful communication at all times. Furthermore, the SSLG is dedicated to developing student leaders who are equipped with the values, skills, and confidence needed to serve their peers and contribute positively to the broader community. In alignment with the Department of Education’s Learner Government Program, the SSLG of JPENHS continuously works toward building a generation of young leaders who embody the true spirit of the Elpanian — one who leads with purpose, serves with passion, and strives for excellence in all endeavors.
