Education, Active Citizenship, Environment
The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Prenza National High School serves as the official student governing body that represents the voice, interests, and welfare of the learners. Its primary purpose is to act as a bridge between the student body and the school administration, ensuring that students’ concerns, ideas, and needs are properly communicated and addressed. Through this role, the SSLG promotes participatory leadership, responsibility, and active citizenship among students. In Prenza National High School, the SSLG is tasked with organizing and implementing programs, projects, and activities that contribute to the holistic development of learners—academically, socially, and morally. These include school events, leadership initiatives, community outreach, and campaigns that align with the Department of Education’s goals. The SSLG also helps uphold discipline, unity, and school spirit, fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Ultimately, the SSLG exists not just to lead, but to serve. It empowers students to take part in shaping their school experience, while developing leadership skills, accountability, and a strong sense of community.
