The University Student Government (USG) of North Eastern Mindanao State University–Tandag is the highest representative body of the student population, committed to promoting leadership, unity, and student welfare. As a dynamic youth organization, it serves as the official voice of the students, advocating for their rights, academic interests, and holistic development. The USG actively organizes programs and initiatives that foster civic engagement, social responsibility, and empowerment among the youth. It collaborates with university administrators, local government units, and community partners to address student concerns and contribute to nation-building efforts. Through leadership trainings, outreach activities, and policy-driven actions, the organization cultivates responsible, proactive, and service-oriented student leaders. Guided by principles of integrity, inclusivity, and excellence, the USG continues to inspire student participation and uphold democratic values within. Its commitment to meaningful service and youth development makes it a strong candidate for recognition under the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) of the National Youth Commission.
