Social Inclusion and Equity

The Star Society is an community-based independent filmmaking organization based in Iligan City, established on February 28, 2025 and formaly adopted on March 31, 2026. The Society exists to represent Iligan City in the filmmaking scene, aiming to transform the filmmaking in Iligan into an accessible, community-driven practice that amplifies marginalized voices, preserving and sharing Mindanaoan culture and to tel untold Mindanaoan stories.
