Argao National High School’s Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) Advocacy is a student led movement that promotes education, mental health awareness, social inclusion, and equity. It is built on the belief that young people can be strong advocates for positive change in their school and community. The program encourages students to live healthy, responsible, and meaningful lives by staying away from harmful habits and focusing on their personal growth. Through activities such as seminars, workshops, peer support groups, and creative campaigns, BKB aims to create a safe and supportive environment where every learner feels valued and respected. This advocacy also highlights the importance of mental health, recognizing that students face challenges such as stress, anxiety, and bullying. By promoting kindness, respect, and understanding, BKB helps reduce stigma and builds a culture of care. It also pushes for equity, ensuring that all students—regardless of background, ability, or identity—have equal opportunities to succeed and belong.
