Hingas Kabataang Dinagatnon (HKD) is a youth-led, community-based organization dedicated to empowering the young people of Dinagat Islands through leadership, volunteerism, and cultural pride. Rooted in the spirit of “puso ang puhunan,” HKD unites the youth as catalysts of positive change, driven by service, guided by values, and inspired by a shared vision for a progressive and resilient community. It serves as a platform where young leaders grow, collaborate, and take action in addressing social, cultural, and environmental concerns. 1. To develop responsible, proactive, and service-oriented youth leaders through capacity-building programs and community engagement. 2. To promote volunteerism as a core value, encouraging active participation in initiatives that uplift communities. 3. To preserve and celebrate the culture, identity, and heritage of Dinagat Islands through youth-led activities and advocacy. 4. To foster unity, solidarity, and collaboration among young people across different barangays and sectors. 5. To initiate and support programs focused on education, environmental protection, and social development. 6. To empower the youth as partners in nation-building by amplifying their voice and participation in local governance and civic actions.
