For a considerable period, Barangay Pulot did not have a formal organization dedicated to the engagement and development of its youth sector. This circumstance persisted until April 24, 2022, when Iren Jan B. Donato initiated the establishment of a youth organization within the barangay. Originally designated as the “Pulot Youth Organization,” it was subsequently renamed the “Pulot Youth Society” following consultations with subject-matter experts and its members, with the change formalized within one year. Mr. Donato served as the organization’s founding president. The Pulot Youth Society envisions a community wherein every youth of Barangay Pulot actively participates in decision-making processes that affect their lives and the welfare of future generations. It is committed to nurturing, empowering, and developing the youth into self-reliant and independent individuals who contribute meaningfully to community development. Furthermore, the organization seeks to provide continuous support and guidance to the youth in their pursuit of becoming responsible and exemplary citizens, instilling in them accountability to God, the environment, the nation, and their fellow citizens. The organization is dedicated to promoting the values of good citizenship, sportsmanship, and fellowship among the youth of Pulot. It also facilitates the formation of teams and groups that engage in community service, sports development, and other socio-civic activities. The Pulot Youth Society operates as a non-stock, non-profit, non sectarian, and non-political organization, upholding the principles of inclusivity and non-discrimination.
