This organization by the virtue of appropriateness was known as CPSU Catholic Youth Organization (CCYO), a Catholic based organization whereas its term was originated on the shortened name for Central Philippines State University (CPSU) Catholic Youth Organization, whereas student leaders proudly epitomize the Catholic faith. CPSU Catholic Youth Organization (CCYO) aims to create a strong spirit of Christian, Catholic fellowship among young people here in CPSU, and build in them the principles of the Catholic faith teachings and conduct. The objectives of the organization include the following: (1) To carry out the business of evangelization (e.g. catechesis, catholic education), (2) To encourage youth to enrich and share their God-given talents and spiritual gifts (e.g. serving masses as lector, commentator, knights of the altar, & choir, etc.), (3) To contribute to the spiritual and physical development of the youth and the church (e.g. seminar training, workshops, etc), (4) To promote a Christ-centered relationship which we could support one another (eg. bible faith sharing, etc), (5) To strengthen and deepen the spiritual faith /among youth and the church community (eg. taize, holy rosary), (6) To foster Christian love, spirit of unity and compassionate understanding among youth and all ministries in the church inside CPSU and even outside the campus.
