The MASBATE CITY EDUCATIONAL AID GRANTEES ORGANIZATION – POBLACION B CLUSTER (MCEAGO–POBLACION B) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-sectarian youth organization composed of educational aid grantees from the Poblacion B Cluster of Masbate City. The organization was established to promote unity, leadership, academic excellence, and social responsibility among student-grantees while encouraging active participation in community development and nation-building. Guided by the principles of discipline, equality, service, and integrity, the organization serves as a support system for young individuals striving to complete their education despite socio-economic challenges. MCEAGO–POBLACION B works in coordination with the City Government of Masbate through the Local Youth Development Office and other partner agencies in implementing programs that benefit the youth sector. The organization recognizes the importance of education as a tool for empowerment and aims to help members become productive, responsible, and community-oriented individuals. It also promotes camaraderie, cooperation, and volunteerism among educational aid grantees. The organization primarily aims to assist members in maintaining their academic responsibilities while actively engaging in community service and youth development activities. It seeks to provide capability-building programs, leadership trainings, and skills enhancement activities that will improve the members’ cognitive abilities, practical life skills, and social awareness. Furthermore, the organization conducts motivational, educational, and values-oriented activities that help students cope with academic pressures, personal challenges, and negative influences. Through collective action and active participation, MCEAGO–POBLACION B aspires to produce empowered youth leaders who will contribute positively to their communities and support the government in promoting education, peace, progress, and social development in Masbate City.
