The MASBATE CITY EDUCATIONAL AID GRANTEES ORGANIZATION – POBLACION A CLUSTER (MCEAGO – POBLACION A) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-sectarian organization composed of educational aid grantees from the Poblacion A Cluster of Masbate City. It serves as a unified organization of student-beneficiaries under the educational assistance program of the City Government of Masbate, committed to fostering academic excellence, discipline, leadership, and active civic participation among its members. The organization aims to empower the youth by providing opportunities for holistic development through educational, civic, environmental, cultural, and community-based activities. It encourages members to develop their talents and skills while strengthening their sense of responsibility, teamwork, and cooperation. Through its programs and initiatives, MCEAGO – POBLACION A promotes personal growth and prepares its members to become productive and responsible citizens. Recognizing the vital role of the youth in nation-building, the organization actively engages in activities that promote volunteerism, environmental protection, disaster preparedness, and community service. It seeks to instill values of integrity, service, accountability, and excellence among its members, ensuring that they become role models in their respective communities. MCEAGO – POBLACION A also serves as a platform for strengthening camaraderie and unity among grantees from different barangays within the Poblacion A Cluster. It provides a supportive environment where members can collaborate, share ideas, and participate in meaningful activities that benefit both the youth sector and the community as a whole. The organization works closely with the City Government of Masbate, the Local Youth Development Office, educational institutions, and partner agencies in implementing programs that address the needs and interests of the youth.
