The Masbate City Educational Aid Grantees Organization – Coastal Cluster (MCEAGO – Coastal Cluster) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-sectarian organization composed of educational aid grantees from the coastal barangays of Masbate City. The organization serves as a unifying body that promotes academic excellence, leadership, discipline, and active participation among student-grantees under the educational assistance program of the City Government of Masbate. MCEAGO – Coastal Cluster aims to empower the youth through educational, civic, environmental, cultural, and community-based activities that contribute to their personal growth and holistic development. It also serves as a platform where members can develop their talents, leadership skills, and sense of social responsibility while strengthening camaraderie and cooperation among grantees from the coastal communities. The organization recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building and community development, particularly in promoting environmental awareness, coastal preservation, volunteerism, and disaster preparedness. Guided by the principles of service, integrity, accountability, and excellence, the organization works closely with the City Government of Masbate, the Local Youth Development Office, educational institutions, and partner agencies in implementing programs and initiatives beneficial to the youth sector and the community.
