"Barimbao Tandang Sora Youth Organization is a community-based group made up of passionate and active youth from Brgy. Tandang Sora, QC. Former to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for young people, the group aims to promote education, leadership and active involvement in community issues. Backed by the SK and local volunteers, Barimbao encourages the youth to use their voice and energy for positive change. One of their main goals is to help fellow youth grow through education. They organize free learning sessions, tutoring programs, and values formation activities, especially during school breaks. One example is their AKAP 2023 program which offered learning support and life skills training students. The goal is simple, to help young people stay inspired to learn, develop confidence, and aim higher whehter in school or in life. But Barimbao doesn't stop with education. They're big on active citizenship too. The group encourages youth to volunteer in clean up drives, join leadership training, and even take part in discussions on local issues. Their messages is clear. You don't need to wait until you're older to make difference. They also promote ""service over hate"" reminding young people that the best way to respond to criticism or negativity is through kindness and action. Through events like mini bazaars, civic talks and outreach programs, Barimbao helps young people become more involved, more responsible and more aware of their role in the community. They're not just building future leaders. they creating young changemakers who are already making an impact today. In short. Barimbao is about helping youth to learn more, care more and do more, all while having fun, gaining friends, and giving back to Brgy. Tandang Sora."
