The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is a co-curricular, learner-led organization recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines. It serves as the highest governing body of student leaders within the secondary school level, acting as a formal platform for active participation in school governance, representation of peers, and community development. The SSLG is anchored on the belief that students should be active participants in shaping their educational experience. Its core mandate is to foster participatory democracy, leadership skills, volunteerism, unity, and good citizenship among learners. The SSLG is tasked with representing students in various school decision-making processes, Initiating projects that address student welfare, and supporting programs that enhance the overall learning environment. Through these activities, the SSL acts as a training ground for future leaders and instils a sense of social responsibility in young citizens.
