The Society for Public Administration and Governance shall serve as the official academic organization of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Public Administration major in Public Financial Management (BPA-PFM) and Bachelor of Public Administration with Specialization in Fiscal Administration (BPA-FA) programs. The organization shall function as an autonomous body while maintaining its affiliation with the Junior Philippine Society for Public Administration and recognition under the PUP University Student Government as one of the university’s duly recognized student organizations. All students officially enrolled in the BPA-PFM and BPA-FA programs shall automatically become members of the organization. The Society for Public Administration and Governance is established to develop future-ready public servants, leaders, and change agents equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values essential for effective governance, public service, and national and international development. It serves as a premier academic organization for students aspiring to pursue careers in public administration and related fields, providing opportunities to strengthen their competence in policy formulation, organizational leadership, sustainability, accountability, and ethical governance toward meaningful nation-building. In pursuit of its objectives, the organization shall initiate and conduct outreach and extension programs, leadership trainings, seminars, workshops, and other academic and co-curricular activities relevant to the field of public administration and governance.
