Social Inclusion and Equity

The Gender and Equality Movement Society (GEMS) is committed to spreading awareness, promoting unity despite gender differences, and encouraging pride by showcasing the knowledge, skills, and talents of students that help build confidence and strengthen social relationships within the PUP Mulanay Campus community. The organization also actively participates in activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of students while fostering fellowship, leadership, and advocacy among its members. In addition, GEMS upholds the Strategic Goals and Core Values of Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Furthermore, GEMS is dedicated to engaging in school activities that enhance leadership, participation, and awareness of gender diversity and rights. The organization promotes the development of members’ skills as well as their social and moral well-being. It also encourages civic consciousness, discipline, and responsibility among members while conducting activities that improve their ability to communicate and build positive social relationships both within and outside the campus.
