Hayuma Theatrical Dance Company is a school-based theatre and dance group in Navotas City that perform several command performances for DepEd SDO Navotas, LGUs, churches, school and in the community. It aims to promote its strong position of preserving the value of culture and arts for nation-building. It contributes to the learners attainment of high academic performances and committed for the holistic growth of the learners through artistic excellence. Hayuma was founded alone by Mr. Angel P. Angeles on August 29, 2012 as ordered by his School Head Dr. Cristina Castillo-Miclat to put up a cultural dance troupe 7then later become theatre and dance company in the school. It aims to project the relevance of history, culture and arts for the holistic growth of San Roque National High School Learners. Hayuman showcases its artistic prowess through different theatrical and dance performances such as contemporary and creative dance, Senakulo and Panuluyan, Sayawitan and Dance-Drama where the insertion of Filipino moral values, different political, social and environmental issues were presented.
