The organization encourages young individuals to become informed, socially aware, and proactive citizens who can contribute meaningful solutions to local and national issues. Through campaigns, skills training, volunteerism, youth assemblies, and partnerships with local government units and civil society organizations, PYM seeks to amplify the voice of the youth and ensure that no one is left behind regardless of background, identity, or circumstance. And the objectives of the campaign of the Pinagbuhatan Youth Movement are to empower the youth by strengthening leadership skills, confidence, and civic responsibility; promote social inclusion, equity, and respect for diversity; encourage active youth participation in governance, community initiatives, and decision-making processes; support access to education, learning opportunities, and global awareness; promote environmental sustainability and youth-led community action; and strengthen collaboration between the youth, barangay, local government units, and partner organizations.
