Active Citizenship

The Pulang Lupa Youth Organization (PLYO) is a group of young people aged 15 to 30 years old who live in our neighborhood. We came together because we love our community and want to make it a better, happier, and safer place for everyone. Our group helps young people make new friends, learn how to be good leaders, and work together on helpful projects for our neighbors. We believe that even though we are young, we can do big things to help our area grow. To make this happen, our group works hard to achieve a few simple goals. First, we want to help young people learn by organizing simple activities where they can build confidence and new skills. Second, we aim to clean and protect our environment by leading neighborhood clean-ups to keep Sitio Pulang Lupa beautiful. Third, we want to help our neighbors by running community projects like free tutorials for children, health activities, and fun sports leagues to keep everyone active. Lastly, we work closely with our local leaders by sharing the ideas of the youth with barangay officials so we can solve local problems together
