Health, Education, Social Inclusion and Equity, Active Citizenship
The Young Hands was established in 2024 through COPE’s initiatives on Child Protection in Emergencies and Down to Zero: Stepping Up the Fight Against the Sexual Exploitation of Children. Inspired by organizations dedicated to preventing child abuse and empowering young people, the group was formed to actively contribute to safeguarding children’s rights and welfare. Young Hands is a youth-led organization composed of high school and college students from diverse backgrounds, including student leaders, campus journalists, and committed volunteers. United by a shared passion, its members strive to raise awareness, advocate for child protection, and empower fellow youth to become proactive agents of change in their communities.
