The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Maypangdan National High School (MNHS) is the highest student governing body duly recognized by the Department of Education. It is mandated to represent the interests, rights, and welfare of all learners while promoting leadership, accountability, and active participation in school governance. The SSLG serves as a platform for student empowerment, encouraging learners to take an active role in decision-making and in the implementation of programs that contribute to the school’s development and the community’s well-being. It works collaboratively with the school administration, teachers, and external stakeholders to ensure that student voices are heard and addressed. Objectives: 1.To uphold and promote the rights, welfare, and holistic development of all learners. 2.To strengthen student leadership and governance through active participation in school programs and initiatives. 3.To foster a culture of responsibility, discipline, and active citizenship among students. 4.To implement projects and activities that support academic excellence, environmental awareness, health, and social responsibility. 5.To serve as a link between the student body and the school administration for effective communication and collaboration. 6.To encourage inclusivity, unity, and cooperation among learners in achieving shared goals. Through these objectives, the SSLG aims to develop empowered, responsible, and service-oriented student leaders who contribute positively to the school and the wider community.
