The Catholic Youth Apostolate, formerly known as the Catholic Youth Organization, was founded in 2004 at Bayugan City\'s Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in the Diocese of Butuan.\r\nThe Catholic Youth Apostolate is a lively community and faith formation center in the Philippines that provides a young experience of the Church "sent" into the world of everyday life and ordinary people. Its long-term goal is to find new ways to spread the gospel around the world, to give people new life in Christ, and to inspire people with faith, hope, and love in today\'s world.\r\nThe Catholic Youth Apostolate\'s aim is to bring all young people in the church together in response to Jesus Christ\'s Holy Gospel by fostering the development of a profound faith that overflows into meaningful community service.\r\nObjectives\r\n1. Strengthen the unity of the youth within the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.\r\n2. Remain a living part of the development of the Christian Society.\r\n3. Stay in touch with the Small Christian Community (CCC).\r\n4. Participate in church reforms.\r\n5. Pay attention to the talents and Knowledge of the youth.\r\n6. Concern for the social events that most affect young people.\r\n7. Comprehensive participation in church activities and callings.\r\n8. Study, live, and share the Word of God in attending or participating in meetings to spread the Christian faith.\r\n9. Encourage the establishment of Income Generating Projects or (IGP’s) that help sustain organizations. Sponsorship through “disco” as an IGP is prohibited.\r\n10. Forming youth by absorbing the Word of God. (Seminars, BYFS/BYOS, Assembly, Recollection, Bible Sharing etc.).\r\n11. Continuous formation of the “Formators Team” for the Christian development of the youth.
