Kabanata PH is a non-profit youth organization that aims to connect the issues of today with the leaders of tomorrow– the youth! The organization aims to make change within our nation by championing various causes– such as environmentalism, social equity, and education– by establishing projects and campaigns that provide young people with a platform to find their advocacies and take an active part in the change-making process. Fundamentally, Kabanata PH advocates for youth empowerment. Concretely, this means that the organization aims to empower the youth through information and passion regarding different advocacies and a platform for the youth to use their unique skills to champion various causes. The organization aims to produce and promote active contributors to a revolutionary present through education, awareness, and action. Therefore, Kabanata’s goals are to provide accurate and accessible information regarding important social issues, to host projects that promote our advocacies and tap into the skills of young volunteers, and to raise awareness regarding different advocacies and relevant events/topics in order to garner more support for them.\r\n\r\nKabanata PH is based in the National Capital Region but has a scope all over the Philippines and beyond. The organization has hosted organization fairs, fundraisers, information campaigns, and many other projects to promote and bring awareness to a variety of different advocacies. At the heart of Kabanata PH is the youth– from the young volunteers who champion our causes to the children of our nation that Kabanata PH advocates for every day.
