The Angat Kabataan Society - Bolbok Youth Development Council, which shall be called AKS for brevity, is created to ensure wide and multi-sectoral youth participation in local governance. It shall be responsible in the formulation of youth policies and the implementation of youth development program, projects, and activities in the barangay in coordination with the Sangguniang Kabataan, various government and non-government organizations for the welfare of the youth sector. The AKS shall be headed by the SK Chairperson as the adviser, and the President coming from the Sectoral/Organization Presidents and composed of representatives of youth and youth-serving organizations in the barangay level. TheAKS shall assist in the planning and execution of projects and programs of its member organizations, the SK, and the Barangay Sanggunian.\r\n\r\n
