Health, Health, Health, Health, Health, Health, Health, Health, Health
Coming from “shelter,” the English translation of the Tagalog (Calamba’s native language) word habong, the\r\norganization was given the name to express that the organization will function as a haven for those suffering from\r\nmental health problems. The tree in the logo taking the place of the human mind serves as protection as a house\r\ndoes, and signifies the nurture of a healthy mind. Furthermore, the color orange represents happiness.\r\nHabong shall have the following objectives:\r\nâ— Reduce the stigma surrounding seeking mental health care;\r\nâ— Help Calambeños with mental health problems feel less alone and more understood;\r\nâ— Empower Calambeños to cope with their mental health problems;\r\nâ— Encourage Calambeños to seek professional care; and,\r\nâ— Connect Calambeños to inexpensive resources, especially ones found in the community.
