The Campedico Youth for Disaster and Response Organization (CYDRO) is a youth organization operating at Barangay Campedico, Palapag, Northern Samar. This organization was created to increase the engagement of the youth in the community especially in terms of disaster preparedness, awareness, mitigation, and response and to encourage the youth in active community involvement through participating in any related activities. Further, it aims to establish a strong relationship between and among the youth and the community. CYDRO also advocates education, health, equality in the community, peace and security, and a clean environment for safe and better living for the barangay people. The objectives of CYDRO are as follow:\r\n\r\na. To encourage active youth participation in the community;\r\nb. To assist and help everyone in the barangay when disaster and calamities arise;\r\nc. To provide basic information to the community on disaster preparedness and response in coordination with concerned authorities; \r\nd. To protect nature and the environment for the future of the community; and\r\ne. To teach the youth to become well-mannered people who served, protect, and loved their family, the community, nature, and above all God.\r\n
