The Rotaract Club of Taguig opened its doors on June 3, 2021, making it the first chartered club on the island of Luzon and the second Rotaract club in the Philippines that has no sponsoring Rotaract club. It came into being after the 2019-20 RI Board of Directors allowed Rotaract clubs to be organized with or without a sponsor on its meeting on October 21–24, 2019 at the Rotary International World Headquarters in Evanston, Illinois, USA.\r\n\r\nRAC-T was formally admitted on October 5, 2021. The club prides itself with its 20 chartered members of young professionals working in different fields of expertise and student leaders who are well-valued in their respective universities, mostly based in the emerging supernova of the country. Past President Ivy C. Vanzuela, who previously served as Deputy District Area Representative for Paranaque, Taguig, and Pateros (ParTaPat), became the charter president of the newly-installed organization. \r\n\r\nSince its establishment, the club has in its roster distinguished and prominent Rotaractors that include Past District Rotaract Representative John Philip S. Chan, who assumed as the club secretary on its first year. Past Presidents Ricky B. Mirandilla and Jacob N. Odevilas of the now-defunct Rotaract Club of South Signal Village also occupy key positions of leadership and played vital roles in the establishment of the group. \r\n\r\nIn addition, the organization has the distinction of having four past presidents from different Rotaract clubs: Past Presidents Daryl B. Odita (Rotaract Club of Makati West), a two-time district auditor; Joyce U. Handugan (Rotaract Club of Fort Bonifacio Global City), formerly a district area representative; Jackie Belmonte (Rotaract Club of Signal Village-Central), who chaired the renowned district Christmas gift-giving; and Angel Canales (Rotaract Club of Happy Barangay Purok 1-B). \r\n\r\nThe club meets every 3rd Saturday of each month.
