The Zone IV Indigenous People Youth Organization or shall also be known as ZIPYO is a youth organization that mainly focuses on cultivating Indigenous Peoples Youth in becoming great leaders in the community. They are the hopes of maintaining the aesthetic figures of four ethnolinguistic tribes, namely Bagobo-Tagabawa, Blaan, Taga-kaulo, and Kalagan here in Barangay Zone IV. As what has been written in their Constitution and By-Laws, they have mentioned there their visions that they envision and eager to achieve. One of those is to embrace the inclusivity among all regardless of the differences that they have instilled on their minds and on their living. Additionally, the organization manifests to empower, preserve, and promote the culture and the tradition of the above-mentioned ethnolinguistic tribes in order to help anticipate progression within the community and for nation building. Another pertinent point, its advocacy for solidarity, cultural development, and peace and security are enlisted in which drive them to pursue what they have started. For so many years, Indigenous Peoples, especially our youth today have had a difficult in expressing themselves to the extent that they are afraid of knowing who they are and where they are coming from. If asked about their tribes, they are left a big question mark within themselves which is why it is a strong force to regain or retrack the beauty of Indigenous Peoples through creating and crafting the said organization. As a matter of fact, without falsifying, the organization has slowly achieved its goals by conducting tribal-related activities which nourished the culture and tradition that we longed for years now. With this, we hope for a meaningful and cultural success towards one another. As its tagline echoes, ‘’Today’s Culture, Tomorrow’s Future.”
