PEACE International is a multi-tribal youth-led organization based in Zamboanga City, Philippines. The officers and members are coming from different provinces in BARMM, Region IX and from the Province of Saranggani with different tribal backgrounds. These officers and members were hired to give a representation for their tribes because the organization wants every customs, traditions, beliefs and other cultural aspect are represented. Thus, the organization ensures from personnel to programs is aligned to its vision on building a future for less-fortunate through non-formal education considering cultural preservation and environmental protection. The Organization also aims to Enrich people’s live through program and services that educate and inspire young and adult individuals in order to promote quality of life and enabling them to transform the society and creating a model of sustainable development in terms of livelihood, security, better health, cultural preservation, and safe environment.\r\n\r\nThe most accomplished project of the organization to date, is the AlMakhdumeen Educational Center (boarding Madrasah) catering the children and youth from different provinces in Mindanao. The said institution is run by an Executive Director and eleven (11) Sheikh/Ustadz following Islamic curriculum. The organization equipped its staff and members through leadership training, capacity-building and staff development, it is an avenue to enhance their skills and potentials so that they can be an effective and efficient development worker.
