The Center for UCC’ s Best Enterta iners (CUBE) as a university thea tre group will provid e lea dership for the\r\ndevelop ment of performing arts insid e the University of Ca looc an City to be outstand ing professiona l presenters and\r\nfa c ilitators. Ad voc ate for the p rop er resourc ing of performing arts and for presenters, fa c ilita tors and venues for all\r\nUNIVERSITY OF CALOOCAN stud ents. It is c ommitted to provid ing sa fe, exc iting, and ed uc ationa l pla ys for ea c h or\r\nour performers and memb ers in a disc ip lined but enjoya ble environment.\r\nThe mission of the Center for UCC\'s Best Enterta iners (CUBE) is to sha p e lives throug h thea tre ed uc ation.\r\nWe believe tha t thea tre prog ra ms are more vita l tha n ever, given their ability to sup port the soc ia l and emotiona l\r\nwellb eing of stud ents in this time of great c ha ng e and tra uma . We also believe that thea tre performa nc e\r\nop portunities—a c entra l c omp onent to all thea tre ed uc ation prog ra ms.\r\nThus, CUBE will c ontinue to hone stud ent-a rtists to develop their c ritic al thinking and disc ip lina ry\r\nexc ellenc e through exp erientia l lea rning , c olla bora tion and interd isc ip lina ry pra c tic es and prep are them to be a\r\nreleva nt artist throug h online tra ining.\r\nGoa ls and Ob jec tives\r\nStud ent-artists develop ac tors’ artistry and c ra ft through the integra tive stud y of ac ting , voic e and movement in an\r\nintensive la bora tory and prod uc tion environment tha t inc lud es the follow ing distinc tive lea rning ob jec tives:\r\n1. Build intellec tua l and aesthetic und ersta nd ing of the c ra ft and tec hniq ue of theatre arts;\r\n2. Develop apprec ia tion and resp ec t tow ard various roles/ asp ec ts inherent within the thea tric al proc ess; Genera te\r\nand c onc eptua lize artistic id ea s and work;\r\n3. Org anize and develop artistic id ea s and work;\r\n4. Refine and c omp lete artistic work;\r\n5. Synthesize and rela te know led ge and persona l exp erienc es to ma ke an art; and\r\n6. Rela te artistic id ea s and works with soc ieta l, c ultura l and historic al c ontext to deep en und ersta nd ing .
