The Tageum Pen is a youth journalism organization that envisions becoming the headmost source of information, truth, transformation, and impact. The organization pursues to serve youth rights to information, defend press freedom, promote social catalyst, and influence moral consciousness while upholding the code of ethics of journalism. It aims to: (1) promote social and moral consciousness to the youth and the citizens of Tagum City; (2) serve as the medium of communication from the youth to the massive population of the city; (3) defend and advance youth's rights and welfare; (4) support the youth in their struggle for self-expression and press freedom; and (5) serve as the standards of conduct as a true leader and models upholding the ethics of journalism.
