The Tagum united K-pop Community is a youth organization that envision to promote Korean pop culture and arts for the aim of creating a culturally sensitive society that empowers the youth sector to express themselves; their thoughts and opinions, talents and skills, multiculturally. The TUKC pursues to promote cultural diversity and break cultural barriers by establishing activities that introduce the colorful Asian culture to the society. It is composed of K-Pop enthusiasts from the 23 Barangays of Tagum city and aims to; (1) Promote Korean pop culture and arts for the aim of a culturally sensitive society that empowers the youth; (2) Serve as to create opportunities for the youth in order to express their admiration to the Korean pop culture; (3) Support the youth in their struggles for self-expression and eliminate the negative perspective of admiring the culture of other societies; (4) Create fun-filled activities that will help to strengthen the Korea-Philippines relationship, and; (5) Serve as the standard of conduct as a true leader and models upholding the ethics of admiring other countries\' culture.
