Sir Rommel V. Aplaon and Pastor Jose V. Estoya founded the Manlucahoc Youth Association (MAYA) in the year \r\n2015. It\'s mission is to assist community-inactive youth, particularly those who are out of school youth (OST). If also encourages young people to join in any program or activity that will help them to become more productive and competitive. This organization serves as a resource for all Barangay youth organization. The association wishes to be \r\nrecognized in the society and to have their voices heard. The objectives of the association are all children are healthy and 100% of school aged shall be enrolled in a formal \r\nSchool or at least in alternative learning school (ALS). In addition, it ensures that there is no children shall be involved \r\nin any illegal activities such gangs and abuses. At the present time, the association is now part of Barangay Council for the Protection of Child or BCPC and it has \r\nan active officers and members. Indeed, as of now the association are now able to study, serves and meet their fellow youth in other Sites of the Barangay as a result of their participating in the association.\r\n
