The Gairan Transformative Young Leaders (GTYL) is a youth organization formerly identified as Gairan Young Leaders Federation (GYLF) and was established in 2007. The evolvement of the organization occurred after they sustained and strengthened the advocacies from time to date. GTYL is duly recognized under the law of the Philippines and is mainly composed of active youth citizens bonafide residents of the barangay Gairan - Bogo City-aged 15-30 years old and aims to hone young leaders and their constituents. The organization evaluated the knowledge and skills that are necessary to perform the task and established the duties, responsibilities, and level of authority within the organization. It envisions advancing the economic, social, cultural and environmental rights and welfare of the youth and the people. It pursues to promote sustainable development programs, activities, and policies for and their families by providing venues to generate decent jobs, education opportunities, and access to health and other social services. It strengthens the local democratic youth participation and active citizenship.
