Education Students Organization (EDSO) is an organization that consists of education student leaders of the University of Southern Philippines Foundation that promotes common good, prepare future educators to be globally competitive and to become lifelong learners.\r\nArticle II Section 3 of Education Students Organization states that the objectives of the organization are as follows:\r\n3.3 Objectives \r\n3.3.1 Spearhead all co-curricular activities and community outreach program of the College of Teacher Education, Arts and Sciences - Teacher Education Department with the support of the faculty members and staff. \r\n3.3.2. Utilize the emerging innovative, research-based strategies that creates challenging learning opportunities to maximize high levels of achievement among a wide range of students. \r\n3.3.3 Provide outcomes-based experiences in fulfillment of the department\'s mission, vision, and goals. \r\n3.3.4. Encourage critical analytical, and creative thinking in search for truth through quality instruction and utilize of research findings to enhance the teaching-learning process. \r\n3.3.5. Acquire useful knowledge and functional understanding of the country\'s development goals and the ways by which education can actively contribute to the systematic realization of these goals.\r\n3.3.6. Practice and philosophy of lifelong education to become fulfilled individuals who are intellectually-equipped highly-skilled and productive citizens imbued with positive attitude and values. \r\n3.3.7 Become responsive to the needs of the community to utilize one’s God given talents, abilities and resources to initials and support relevant projects for the betterment of man’s quality of life. \r\n3.3.8 Establish and sustain its linkages local, national and international as well as networking among Teachers Educational Institutions (TEI’s) nationwide through active professional organization that promote collaboration, intellectual interaction and relevant professional development \r\n3.3.9 Keep abreast with the emerging state-of-the-art educational technology to meet the demands of the fastchanging world of the University’s thrust for excellence and global competitive
