The Aklan Volunteer Youth Action Network (AVYAN) is a community-based youth organization in the province of Aklan. The AVYAN is founded on the principles of participatory democracy, responsible servant leadership, collaboration, unity, accountability, integrity, and efficiency in serving the people of Aklan. The organization aims to achieve the following: -To build a community of proactive young individuals in the province of Aklan; -To promote leadership, patriotism, and nation-building among its members; -To organize exhibitions, seminars, and educational discussions to promote a better understanding societal issues; -To implement research based projects and programs that cater to the needs of the community; and -To raise the awareness of the people of the province of Aklan regarding key issues or causes in the community.
