\r\nThe Youth for Peace Movement (YFPM) is a non-partisan organization and is a Security and Exchange Commission registered non-stock and non-profit Civil-Society Organization in partnership and help of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, LGU’s and other private sectors that promote and advocate peace and development through youth empowerment.\r\n\r\nMembers of the organization are a product of the Youth Leadership Summit - a one-stop-shop training that started in 2002, where we are being molded to become leaders and peace-builders. Guided by the Core Values of Leadership, Good-Citizenship, and Patriotism. Members are composed of Volunteers aged 15 to 35 years old from different corners of the country who understand that since we are one of the most vulnerable sectors when conflicts arise, it is only right that we also stand and use our idealism, gifts, and enthusiasm to promote peace and help resolve these conflicts.\r\n\r\nDedicated to pursuing our vision of “attaining peace and development through youth empowerment” by becoming an organization that champions peace, promotes volunteerism, unity in diversity, and a positive environment. Promote peace and development that encourages young individuals from all folks of life to be part of the organization to collaborate for its goals and objectives in attaining peace and development that will array the successful undertakings for youth development, organizational development, peace communication, and community development.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, the organization aims to uphold inclusive youth involvement to fulfill their vital role in nation-building assist the Government and other youth organizations in their function through volunteerism; organize and promote solidarity and cooperation among the volunteers of the organization and others; advocate peace and promote nationalism, leadership, and good citizenship among the youth sector; and undertake other activities not contrary to the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.\r\n\r\n
