A leader’s duty is not to give commands but o follow commands instead from his/her members to create a stable team that can transform a dull world to a colorful one. Since 2003 in which the Supreme Student Government was established, students were given a chance to perform the essence of leadership.\r\n Moving on as St. Mary’s Academy of Agoo, La union aims to develop the skills of new students, newly appointed and elected officers were given the duty to become the backbone of unity, perseverance, and intellectual activities. A new set of leaders were put to not be the titled highest rank but to be the model of each student. \r\n We, the SSG’s function is to become the voice of each student. We are obliged to commit ourselves in listening to other student’s opinions, suggestions, and ideas in order to give a contribution for the betterment of the school. We are also the mother of every organization of this school. We serve as the faculty and staff’s right hand in empowering and observing discipline and proper order in this school.\r\n The SSG’s main objectives are to provide programs that will enhance the student’s active performances and will evaluate their capabilities in evangelizing Catholicism as this school tends to be connected with the respected religion of Roman Catholic.\r\n Furthermore, we are here to educate the students in all aspects; physical, economical, mental, spiritual, social, and emotional.\r\n The opportunity of being the school’s leaders are our greatest honor. We express our gratitude to the heads for the chance that was given to us. Trained by the challenges and guided by the Holy Spirit, we, SMA Agoo SSG officers will continue to advocate our principles to bring legacy in our school.
