The members of the Barkada Kontra Droga of BULAC NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL imploring \r\nthe aid of Almighty God in: promoting the health and welfare of learners and stakeholders; recognizing \r\nthat drugs and other addictions will undermine the strength and resilience of individuals and families \r\nacross all social, economic and cultural boundaries, conscious of how addiction erodes the fabric of \r\ncommunities from inside and out, considering often the most vulnerable of citizens (children and youth) \r\nbeing the first fall prey or become victim to the use of addictive and gateway drugs, and other addictions \r\nremain unaddressed over time, which breeds corruption, crime, addiction, hopelessness, death; and \r\nacknowledging BKD as collective action among learners that would strengthen camaraderie, \r\ncollaboration, solidarity, linkages, and people empowerment in common commitment to attain a drug \r\nand addiction- free school environment
