Bulac National High School is a medium secondary institution in Talavera, Nueva Ecija headed by Mr. \r\nGerardo P. Vicencio. It is composed of different student organization such as Supreme Student \r\nGovernment (SSG), Youth for Environment Schools- Organization (YES-O), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), \r\nand subject clubs. \r\nThe Department of Education Youth for Environment in Schools Organization is a school-based cocurricular organization which will serve as a significant venue to students’ actions and movements \r\ntowards safeguarding, protecting and conserving the environment for future generations. The YES-O shall \r\nbe required to implement, conduct or attend for the following programs, projects and activities; namely, \r\nclean-up drives, waste management, segregation and recycling, awareness campaigns, symposia or \r\ntraining, nursery establishment, tree-planting activities, fun run, and Youth for Environment Summer Camp.\r\nThe organization aims to:\r\na. be aware and create awareness in others of the state of the Philippine environment and ecology, \r\nincluding prevailing issues and concerns relative thereto;\r\nb. establish specific and doable programs, projects and activities to address issues and concerns on the \r\nenvironment and ecology;\r\nc. network with other government and non-government in schools (yes) organization in other schools \r\nwithin the division and region, regarding to the support and assistance to programs, projects and activities \r\nof the organization;\r\nd. encourage community participation and initiative in environmental and ecological movements and \r\nactions; and\r\ne. develop among the members and the community proper environmental values, skills and attitudes.
