The Supreme Student Government is a school-based organization that is institutionalized in most of the recognized schools and universities all over the world. They are to serve as an organization composed of student-leaders that is given the responsibility to govern the student body. In Notre Dame of Marbel University, this organization aims to help foster the spirit of mutual respect, understanding and cooperation among three components of the academic community (the student body, the faculty and staff, and the administration) to protect the rights, welfare and interest of the students, to send representation to the university authority in all matters affecting the interest of the students; to serve as a venue wherein students can express their views and opinion on national and local issues affecting the interest of the students; to assist and give opportunities for intellectual, social, spritual, aesthetic and physical development of the students.
