The Dumaguete Youth Leaders for Development (DYLD) is a youth organization created under the City Population Office of the City of Dumaguete. The organization, consists of youth members from the 30 different barangays of the city, aims to spread awareness to the public, especially to their fellow youth, about the social issues that the present generation is facing such as the increasing number of teenage pregnancy and HIV/AIDS cases in the whole country. As such, the organization also aims to disseminate correct information about Reproductive Health which includes discussions on STI and HIV/AIDS, so that the youth will have a better understanding of the said topics and will be able to educate their peers with the right information. Aside from that, the organization further aims to educate the youth about the importance of the different Life Skills and Values which they can use in their day-to-day lives.
