Duly established on October 12, 2014, Youth for Peace Movement Davao de Oro Laak Chapter is a non-profit organization composed of empowered young leaders that advocates peace and development in its area of responsibility through youth empowerment and volunteerism. \r\nBearing the core values of Leadership, Good-Citizenship, and Patriotism, it envisions to inclusively transform the youth into proactive, well-disciplined, and principled leaders who will champion peace and development in the entire province of Davao de Oro.\r\nThe organization is guided with the following objectives:\r\n1. Uphold inclusive youth participation to fulfill their vital role in nation building;\r\n2. Encourage youth volunteerism to assist the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Davao de Oro in all of its projects for the Youth, and other youth sectors;\r\n3. Organize and promote solidarity, cooperation and mutual assistance among the members of the organization and other youth sectors;\r\n4. Advocate peace and promote nationalism among the youth sector;\r\n5. Undertake other activities not contrary to the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.\r\n
