College Student Council is a student body club representing all students from the four different programs\r\nnamely: BSED, BEED. BECED and AB Economics. The organization was created to plan and implement\r\nactivities in Ligao Community College upholding the core values of the institution which are Discipline\r\nAccountabiltly. Commitment and Excellence. The council is also involved in the affairs of the school, work\r\nin partnership with the school management, staffs. parents, and community for the benefit of the\r\ninstitution and its students. I also aims to head and lead all of the existing college-based organization\r\ninside Ligao Community College. The council declares its guiding principle: to be a just and ideal and\r\nreputable student organization that will embody the united and genuine interest of the Ligao Community\r\nCollege. instilling in them leadership, service, dedication, friendship, solidarity, loyalty, and nationalism\r\nwith integrity, equality and utmost responsibility".\r\n\r\nThe College Student Council has the following objectives:\r\na To serve as an active forum for student ideas and sentiments:\r\n(b) To support an accessible education afforded by everyone\r\nc] To defend, promote, and protect the rights and welfare of the students\r\n(d) To uphold the ideals of the Ligao Community College geared towards ensuring a well-rounded\r\nlocal, national and international development of every student mentally, socially, spiritually,\r\nemotionally, and physically:\r\ne To instill campus awareness and social consciousness of the college policies among students\r\n( To establish rapport with concerned departments of lhe Local Community College in the pursuit\r\nof the common good of the students\r\n() To prepare a responsible student and to maximize educational opportunity for all.\r\n(h) To develop a sense of service and responsibility in the society among the students\r\n) To strengthen the lies among the students, faculty, administration, local government unit of Ligao\r\nand other sectors of academic community.\r\n
