The Linkages Extension Services Office (LESO) an efficient school-based program and services to empower individuals, families, and communities. It envision to a leading linkages and community services harnessed with ethical principle of responsibility, environmental advocacy, volunteerism, and literacy that will uplift the equality of life of the community. It is also a committed partner in the achievement of college vision-mission and goals through advocacy, linkages and extension. General Objectives: a. Established linkages with other academic institutions through networking, benchmarking, people to people exchange, tie-ups partnership and other related scheme. b. Strengthen the extension programs in participation of various stakeholders from the community and business sectors in the achievement of a sustainable community development. c. Generate employment of graduates through placement to improve the quality of life. d. Serve individuals and communities through extension service programs by way of education awareness and skills development. e. Achieve quality community service by: • Supporting local, provincial and regional development through linkages with LGU's, NGO's, GO's and other sectors; • Conducting training to increase awareness, knowledge and understanding of various life aspects; f. Directing outreach programs on health, literacy, disaster preparedness, skills and employment. To adopt community organizing approach in delivering programs and services intended for individuals, families and communities. Specific Objectives: a. To establish a community-based facility (adopted community) as a venue for accessing prioritized problems and deliver programs and services using participatory approach. b. To develop a responsible and empowered leadership in the community for self-sufficient and resource mobilization for its sustainability. c. To organize well-trained volunteers towards empowerment of individuals, families and communities.
