Kabataan at Bayanihan Laban sa Kahirapan (KBLK) is a community-based organization established in the Municipality of San Mateo, province of Rizal, on August 12, 2022. It consists of a diverse group of youth residing in San Mateo, including professionals, women, students, and LGBTQIA+ youth members. The organization aims to support the local community through engagement and volunteer work to aid the youth sector. It aspires to serve as an eye-opener and spread awareness among the juveniles about the situation of the people in the community as an approach to encouraging them to make rational and wise decisions in actual setting. In addition, the Kabataan at Bayanihan Laban sa Kahirapan emphasizes that health should be one of the top priorities; hence, it aspires to be a bridge and fill up the gaps seen in the community by running various programs with the aim of safeguarding people’s quality of life. Furthermore, KBLK aims to foster a healthier, safer environment for people to live in.
