Millennials Philippines Occidental Mindoro or MPH OcciMin is a socio-political youth movement dedicated to developing future Filipino leaders who want their voices to be heard concerning different social and political issues that affect them and society in general; MPH OcciMin is a non-government organization that provides a platform where young people can collaborate with stakeholders such as the government, private sector, and civil society groups to help solve the issues and challenges of our country.\r\nWe began as a Facebook community of young people advocating for the truth and combating the ongoing disinformation campaign. From its humble beginning as an online community, MPH OcciMin came into a realization that there are bigger battles to be won offline paving the way to the formation of the youth led youth organization, encouraging young people to move, act, and go beyond the sphere of social media: Millennials Philippines Occidental Mindoro.\r\nSince its inception in 2021, MPH OcciMin has engaged over 350 youth leaders provincewide, conducted 11 Outreach Programs, 2 Leadership Trainings, 41 Community Feedings, 11 Tree Planting and 21 Community Clean-Up Drive, partnered with 83 institutions and organizations, assisted and helped 27 communities, and raised over Php65,000 for typhoon affected families/victim. Its core membership is composed of over 60 youth in government, young professionals, and youth/student leaders provincewide. We fight for the youth and our rights as Filipinos. We fight for SOCIAL JUSTICE. We are a community of young people who wish to be an avenue where we can collaborate with other stakeholders such as the government and the private sector to help solve different social issues and contribute as modern-day young leaders.
